The National Health Service turned 70 years old today, and as such ART Director Liz Pryor has been chatting with Nick Coffer on BBC 3 Counties Radio about working in NHS hospitals, End of Life care, and how you can help make sure no one dies alone.
You can listen to the whole interview here…
“It’s the perfect opportunity to celebrate the achievements of one of the nation’s most loved institutions, to appreciate the vital role the service plays in our lives, and to recognise and thank the extraordinary NHS staff – the everyday heroes – who are there to guide, support and care for us, day in, day out.”
The Anne Robson Trust has been working in NHS hospitals for some time now and see first-hand the fantastic work that nurses and hospital staff do every single day, working with our ART Butterfly Volunteers, so we jumped at the chance to come and celebrate with the rest of the nation, and to open up the conversation on end of life care.
